The old Canarian main house has been extensively restored and extended in recent years and today offers a typical Palmerian manor house on 2 floors with courtyard and spacious workshop on a very large plot of around 12,000 m² as well as a beautiful guest house for 2 people and other outbuildings.
The main house (approx. 175 m² floor area) consists of a cosy, very large living room with original teak floorboards and a high exposed wooden roof chair, a dining room, a kitchen and a fully sheltered inner courtyard on the upper floor (which, as is usual here, can be reached at ground level from the mountain side). On the ground floor there is a conservatory with a three-sided view of the garden, a large bedroom, a very large bathroom, a small hallway and a small study or bedroom. From here, a new and very elaborate internal staircase leads to the former water tank, which is used as a naturally excellent air-conditioned workshop and offers plenty of storage space or even an additional sleeping area thanks to a mezzanine. Normally you would walk between the two floors through the outside area, but there is also an internal staircase between the floors, albeit a very steep one. A large terrace has been built facing the Atlantic with a very beautiful view.
A little lower down is the guest house (approx. 50 m²), which contains a living room, a kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom. It also has its own panoramic terrace and offers sufficient privacy so that it can be rented out all year round without the parties disturbing each other.
There are also 2 small sheds on the approximately 12,000 m² plot, one of which has been restored and serves as a storage room for garden furniture - the other could be used for supplies, but would need to be renovated for more sophisticated use. There is also a utility building, which is divided into a semi-open storage room for firewood and garden tools, for example, and a fully enclosed technical room for the photovoltaic system and for storing higher-value items such as e-bikes. Two usable caves and a carport round off the generous space on offer.
The plot is partly planted with ornamental plants such as dragon trees, Canarian date palms and flowers as well as fruit trees, partly terraced and cleared, so that it is very well prepared for growing your own useful and ornamental plants. A small part of the property consists of steep slopes planted with pines and dragon trees. Immediately next to the main house and guest house is a large plateau, which is almost flat and has been partly equipped with a historic threshing floor, a large photovoltaic system and several seating areas, and partly simply forms a flat area - with wonderful Atlantic, mountain and forest views. The part of the property that can be easily utilised without further work on the land has an area of approx. 7,000 m².
The property can be reached via a partially asphalted or concreted forest path. An off-road vehicle would certainly be the best choice, but with a little driving skill it can also be reached by a normal car (as the owners do on a daily basis). It is connected to the public electricity and drinking water network and has a fast internet connection via microwave and satellite TV. As a very powerful photovoltaic system with battery storage has been installed, this is completely sufficient for the autonomous supply of the finca, but there is still a connection to the public electricity grid in case of emergency, which should also be used to feed in surplus solar energy.
